Furnace Repair

Reliable furnace repairs

In Wisconsin, there's never a convenient time for your furnace to stop working, which is why it's important to have PHE's reliable and local furnace repair technicians only a phone call away. PHE Contractors will always prioritize service calls to restore heat. Our trustworthy technicians come prepared with all the necessary items to restore your heating and are well-trained to service any brand of furnace.

It's likely that you'll recognize an issue with your furnace pretty quickly. There will either be cold air coming from your vents or the furnace won't respond to a call for heat from the thermostat. We understand that the last thing you want on a cold winter's day is to face heating inconsistencies, but you can count on PHE Contractors to get you back up and running again.

Don't ignore these six reasons you need a furnace repair:

  • Unit won't turn on: You could have a problem with your thermostat failing to communicate with your furnace or the pilot light could be the problem. Before you call us, check to see if the breaker is tripped or, if there's a switch, that it is on. This might be an easy fix you can do yourself!
  • Unfamiliar noises: Loud noises like rattling, clunking, whistling or grinding can indicate dirt and dust buildup on the burners or problems with one of the motors. Address this before it becomes a bigger issue!
  • Strange odors: Dirt, dust and hair build up throughout the home can easily get caught in furnace filters and cause a dusty smell throughout the house. Your filter could be clogged - we recommend replacing filters once annually. If it smells like something is burning, this could indicate an electrical problem.
  • Pilot burning yellow instead of blue: A yellow light tells us that your burners may be dirty, and the gas isn't fully igniting. Your furnace may be producing excess amounts of carbon monoxide - call us right away!
  • Unit cycles on and off frequently: You could have a problem with your thermostat or your unit is dirty and struggling to “breathe” from all that dirt and dust buildup. If you were running with a mask on your face you would need to stop regularly to take a break too - give your furnace a time-out and call us to clean it up!
  • Furnace runs constantly: This could indicate a variety of problems from faulty parts that require replacement or a clogged filter. Call us right away before your furnace quits entirely!
